Richie’s 2010 Review — Sights & Sounds
For 22 years now I have written a parody that sums up the big events of the past 365 days. But this year it's different - way different!

I think no matter what time of day you are being forced to trek out into our winter wonderland today, the roads most likely won't be very visible. Steve Caporizzo's morning forecast said the winds are suppose to carry in to tomorrow and if they are anything like they were this morning, I think I may have been safer riding a horse to and from work.
Do you have any photos to share of the storm we got overnight? While we didn't get a massive amount of snow, the wild winds made massive drifts. Here are a few shots from my driveway this morning - including the pile of snow that prevented me from opening my door!
This is hard to believe, but I bought a snowblower in Wilton, NY that has become the running joke every winter.
The Top Safety Pick awards for 2011 have been named by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. Miraculously, Toyota made it on that list! I know -- poor Toyota, but even in the wake of racking up large fines, Toyota-Lexus-Scion still managed
It was in many ways quite the Christmas gift from the universe but sadly most of us were fast asleep and missed the chance to see the only total lunar eclipse of the year. Fortunately for those of us who value sleep, others don't.
Christmastime. A time to show love. And nothing screams "love' more than something with a grey "APPLE" logo on it.

So I have a relative. Let's see..how is he related? He's my niece, Jessica's, husband....Sean says that makes him my...NEPHEW! (duhhhhhhhhhhh! Why didn't I think of that? ) Anyway, I need to brag here, and it's my blog so I can.
Again this year, some great legends released music that was unheard to most of the general public. I've compiled a list of what I think were the 5 best new recordings released by legends over the past year.
I penned this dumb little ditty in 1997, right when the Barachster first started to gain national prominence. In an unusually bold move, I decided to send this to his campaign headquarters. We were hoping to get some kind of interview with him at the time, but to no avail. Ahh, you win some, you lose some. Just like politics!
