If you've ever read anything I've written about Twilight or had a quick conversation with me about it you know I hate romantic monster movies. I am also a huge zombie movie fan. Not because I love zombies but because the thought of surviving against an enemy that is shark like in it's need to kill and eat intrigues me. So making them "lovable" makes me sick.
I've seen more movies then most people ever will so I am extremely familiar with the cliche's like "Good guys only drink black coffee", "No one needs to look at the road" and "Your gay best friend is always worried about straight people problems". I am happy Mick Lasalle from the San Fransisco Chronicle put together a list of these lies and proves them wrong.
Hello, hello, hello.... hello! If you're a Three Stooges fan, and I know there are a lot of you out there then that meant something. Laughter is infections and the Three Stooges still make Americans laugh out loud to this day.
Zombie movies are becoming more and more popular and of course I am a fan, but not even I thought a major star like Brad Pitt would star in one. I was wrong Pitt is the lead in "World War Z". Thanks to Entertainment Television. We get a first look at some of the movie.
"Red Dawn" was a pretty classic movie back in 1984 about a group of teens caught behind enemy lines after a invasion here in America. Patrick Swayze, Charlie Sheen and C. Thomas Howell lead a huge cast. So should it be remade? Too late they already did.
It's Halloween and it's time for all the ghosts and goblins and scary creatures to come out trick or treating tonight. It's also the time of year that many cable channels show marathons of scary movies. I have been watching a lot of AMC and IFC the last few days. I absolutely love horror movies and here are a few of my all time favorites.
Hi my name is Jeff and I am a Movie-aholic! HIIII JEFFFFF!!! One of my favorite websites is imdb.com aka the Internet Movie Database. IMDB put together a list of The Top Ten Horror Movies. I like their list because it's based on voting and user ratings. So not one lonely nerd in his mom's basement and no I do not live in my mom's basement!
Earllier today I saw the trending hashtag on Twitter #FavoriteMovieQuotes and obviously it got me thinking about some of mine. I love movies and my friends and I have a habit of quoting many on a regular basis! Here is just a small sample of some of mine.
The familiar 'typewriter' rhythm of the hit song '9 to 5' kicked off a journey back to a corporate office in New York City in 1979, where a chauvinistic boss was about to be taught a lesson by three secretaries with big dreams and imaginations for a better workplace.
