GNA Morning Rush

Yes we were at Disney, but truth be told Ryan is just as happy swimming all of the time. He thinks it's pretty cool that we can swim in the "middle of the night" as he calls it.

New York is a huge state. Granted, not as big as California or Texas but we're still a pretty big state. If you were to ask me what the best thing in this entire state is, I don't know if I could tell you. Luckily, I found an article that did it for me.

By the time I finish writing this, the GNA Secret Star Accoustic Jam (Proctors Theatre May 3rd) will be almost completely sold out.  Sure, it's a great value at under $30 and every seat is pretty much a great seat, but it still blows my mind that people flooded our station website and sold out a show for concert where you don't even know who's performing...

There's literally a day for everything.  Some are warranted more than others.  Anything that brings awareness to disease prevention, people who serve and protect, and food are pretty much alright in my book. Today is "National Food on a Stick" day and for the love of kebabs, it couldn't be more justified...

The Troy Record announced that plans for the yearly Capital Region Grown Up Egg Hunt are changing. You're telling me there's a way to participate in an egg hunt but I don't have to drag a kid along with me? Sign me up!

First Responders are always there in a moments notice, often risking their lives to save another.  But a firefighter in Santa Monica, CA saved a dogs life and it's got the internet buzzing. The story itself is awesome, but after seeing these pics,  your heart might literally melt into a big pile of warm, gooey, humanity.  It's that adorable

We all have our quirks and we all like to eat some strange things- some stranger than others. I find myself to be a pretty open person, except, don't mess with my pizza.

You scream. We scream. I scream when I have to wait in a long line for Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream but then I'm super excited about it when I'm eating it.

It never fails, I’m in the car with my soon to be 21 month old son Brody, listening to GNA, and it happens. Every time Zac Brown Band’s “My Old Man” comes on the radio, I get all the “feels.”

This month's Hometown Hero is a real "life saver" and is every bit as humble as she is courageous.
