April 10, 2012 I have been completely incommunicado this past week or so. I was on vacation out of the country, so I had little online access. But I did see a lot of comments on Facebook about the recent decision to move Countryfest to the Times Union Center, and I thought it was my duty to throw in my two cents, for what it's worth, so here goes.
April 9, 2012 Well it has been a week since we made the big announcement for Countryfest 2012. I hope that a good many of the people who were initially shocked, and rightfully upset about the change in venue have had time to cool off and let it all sink in. I know when I heard about it, I too was shocked and upset but after a few days I realized that it was what it was, and that we would still have a great time.
April 9, 2012 Every now and then our WGNA listeners ask me what my favorite song is. As for one particular song, I don’t really have one.
April 7, 2012 It is going to be a great day. Countryfest 2012 is Saturday, July 7th at The Times Union Center.
April 6, 2012 We've had Josh Thompson in town with 1077 'GNA at Northern Lights where he put on an awesome show when his big hit "Way Out Here" came Out.

April 4, 2012 Thompson Square has grown up with 1077 'GNA. They played our Rising Stars Acoustic Concert Series at Proctors, then Alive at Five and now Countryfest 2012 with Josh Thompson, Joe Nichols and Eric Church.
April 4, 2012 Joe Nichols is hands down one of the best performers I've ever seen live! When he was at our "WGNA Winter Concert" he was fighting a cold that I can tell you would of sidelined many, but Joe took the stage and the sniffling and coughing mess I saw backstage was replaced by a smiling and confident Joe Nichols.
April 3, 2012 We know that there are some concerns about parking in downtown Albany for Countryfest 2012 near the Times Union Center.
