Today we go back about 11 years for a one hit wonder from Cyndi Thomson. It just so happens to be her birthday today so it's another great reason to feature her #1 hit from 2001 "What I Really Meant To Say".
Jason Aldean released his latest CD "Night Train" on Tuesday. It's gotten alot of critical acclaim and from what I have been seeing on my Facebook page alot of you are really digging it as well.
Alan Jackson is coming to town this Saturday (10/20) to the Glens Falls Civic Center for what should be a fantastic show. I've seen AJ a few times in concert and you are guaranteed a night of nothing but hit after hit. The guy has 34 #1's and a slew of top 5's and top 10's as well. October 4, 2012 When George Strait announced his farewell tour, we immediately jumped at the chance to put together a trip. As you know, through the years, we've hosted lots of awesome country music trips, like the CMA awards in New York, Grand Ole Opry at Carnegie Hall, The ACM awards in Las Vegas, Alabama Farewell, Annie Get Your Gun with Reba, and Dolly's 9 to 5 Musical. However, this could be one of the most historic events we will ever have the chance to see.

It was announced a few days ago that George Strait will retire from touring and embark on a farewell tour the next few years called "The Cowboy Rides Away Tour". With that announcement I decided to feature him in this weeks edition of Flashback Friday. We go back to 1991 for one of his 59 #1 hits "If I Know Me".
We all know by know that Brad Paisley loves the element of surprise. He is notorious for pulling pranks on fellow tourmates. Most know the prank is coming, they just never know when. This time around Brad didn't pull any pranks and it didn't even involve a tourmate. Last night at Carrie Underwood's show in Nashville, Brad made a surprise appearance during the song "Remind Me" the duet he and Carrie normally sing on.
