Rodney Atkins, Eric Church, and More in Casey’s Taste of Country Update

If you missed what is going on in Country Music this morning, here is my "Taste of Country" update from the show.

Rodney Atkins Hit #1 for the 6^th time now with his song, “Take a Back Road.”  The album, “Take a Back Road,” is due out October 4^th.  Also featured on the album, another one of his hits, “Farmer’s Daughter.”

Dierks Bentley is kicking off his “Country & Cold Cans Tour” next month.  The first leg will begin October 6^th in Lacrosse, Wisconsin.  On tour will also be Jerrod Niemann and the Eli Young Band opening for Bentley.  They’ll be hitting 22 cities with the tour wrapping up in Denver Colorado on November 19^th.

Trailer Choir's Big Vinny is going to hit your television -- not literally.  He’s going to be one of the 15  Biggest Losercontestants this season.  And he’s going to be one of the biggest.  Weighing in at more than 400 pounds.  Also, on the show this season, you'll see Anna Kournikova.  She is replacing Jillian Michaels as a trainer.

Eric Church and his wife Katherine are expecting their first child.  The baby is due in a few weeks.  Eric and Katherine know its going to be a boy, but they haven’t quite decided on a name yet.  Here’s what he has to say about life on the road while expecting a baby:
