Not sure if you have caught the new singing competition show, "The Voice."  I have to say I was a little reluctant to get too wrapped up in this show only because I feel like there are too many of these "American's Got Talent," "American Idol," "So You Think You Can Dance" television shows. However, I think the creator's of "The Voice" have done an excellent job taking a new angle on finding a good singing performer here in the U.S.  While they added some big names to draw in viewers and ratings, the coaches/mentors have really added a lot of good criticism and spunk to the show.

My favorite was from Blake Shelton's team last night.  Her name is Dia Frampton -- a 23-year old singer-songwriter.  While she is normally pretty reserved and sweet with her singing, Christina Aguilera nailed it on the head, her performance proved she is a fighter.  Dia sang a Kanye West's "Heartless" that I'm not sure if I've ever heard, but even so, her rendition was awesome!  Just in case you've never heard "Heartless," it's actually a rap song.

Check her out:

What do you think of the show, "The Voice?"  Do you think it will continue to be popular or die out after their first year on television?
