Casey James – Another American Idol On The Rise In Country Music [AUDIO]

American Idol has given us a batch of Country Music singers from Carrie Underwood to Scotty McCreery. Now, Casey James finally makes his way up the Country Music charts with his first national hit!

Last year at the CMA Awards I had the chance to meet the ninth-season contestant from American Idol, Casey James. At the time, I was unfamiliar with his music but quickly realized that he was serious about a career in Country Music. In our Nashville interview with Casey, he revealed his passion for Country Music came from growing up with heroes like George Jones, Randy Travis, and Garth Brooks. As his single 'Let's Don't Call It A Night' climbs the charts, I thought it would be fun to share this conversation that we had with the Texas native last year.
