Carrie Underwood has announced a surprise free concert to promote her upcoming album, Storyteller.

The country superstar will perform a just-announced free show at the Variety Playhouse in Atlanta on Friday evening (Sept. 18). She teased the reveal by posting a picture of a peach to her social media accounts on Thursday (Sept. 17).

Fans who hope to attend the show will need to wait in line for a wristband at Central Park in Atlantic Station beginning at 10AM ET Friday morning. The Variety Playhouse is scheduled to open its doors at 7PM for the concert, which begins at 8PM.

The show is part of the CMT Instant Jam series, which has previously hosted impromptu performances from Kenny Chesney, Florida Georgia Line, Hunter Hayes and Darius Rucker.

Storyteller is set for release on Oct. 23, and its first single, "Smoke Break," is already at country radio. Underwood recently revealed the rest of the track listing for the album, for which she worked with longtime collaborators Chris DeStefano and Hillary Lindsey, along with other top Nashville writers including Ashley Gorley, Zach Crowell, Lori McKenna, Liz Rose, Brett James and more. Underwood co-wrote six of the 13 new tracks, including “Renegade Runaway,” “Heartbeat,” “Chaser,” “The Girl You Think I Am” and “What I Never Knew I Always Wanted.”

“I feel like a lot of the songs that I wrote and gravitated to ended up being more traditional and “twangy” than anything I have ever done before,” she says. “I just went with it! I love the story telling aspect of country music…it’s one of the reasons I always wanted to be a part of it.”
