We have developing news out of Schenectady today, as close to 100 car windshields were smashed last night.Schenectady Police are searching for clues as to who is responsible for smashing windows in almost 100 cars last night. Police are currently viewing area surveillance camera footage to find some clues as to who is responsible. Some believe that a BB gun was used to break the windows, but that has not been confirmed by police.

Schenectady police started receiving calls around 4 a.m. Wednesday morning that cars were vandalized. The vehicles that were reported damaged were all parked in the areas of Eastern Avenue, Van Vranken Avenue, McClellan Street, and various streets around Union College.

Schenectady Police will continue to search the area and review camera footage to find any type of clues.
