Capital Region’s Richest City Contains Best Neighborhood

Is it a coincidence that the city that contains the Capital Region's best neighborhood has also been named the most affluent in the area?

Apparently Clifton Park is the place to be! According to Buffalo Business First, the CP is the most affluent community in the Capital Region. This comes on the heels of the Clifton Knolls area being named the best neighborhood to buy a home in the Capital Region.

So how did Buffalo Business First come to this conclusion? They based their rankings on factors like average household income, homes with incomes of $150,000 poverty rate, home values and more. Based on this data, Clifton Park is  the richest city in the Capital Region. Here are the top 5 from the list: 

1. Clifton Park
2. Niskayuna
3. Bethlehem
4. Saratoga Springs
5. New Scotland
