Capital Region Small Town Named Best To Visit In NY

Thrillist has named the best small town to visit in each of the 50 states, and New York's is right here in the Capital Region.

We have many great small towns to visit here in the Capital Region, but Hudson is the ultimate one to visit according to Thrillist. The recently named the best small town to visit in every state, and Hudson is the winner in NY. here is what the website had to say about Hudson:

Two hours north of Manhattan sits a town so quaint and serene, it’s hard to believe the two coexist on the same river. Hudson is known for its cutesy antique shops, art galleries...and an impressive café and restaurant scene. 

As I still am fairly new to the area, Hudson is not a town i have explored yet. I guess I have another day trip to add to our family excursion list for this summer!

One other nearby towns made the list in our neighboring states: Northampton was tops in Massachusetts.
