I don't know about you , but I am excited for opening day at Saratoga! I love that track and it really is a fun track to bet. The thing is you can't always get to the track and thats where Capital O.T.B. comes in. We were lucky enough to have the president John Signore come in on the show today and talk about some of the cool things they have going on today. You can hear the interview here or read on for details.

Today, two of the most popular radio stations in the area will be broadcasting live from the Teletheater. First up,  104.5 The Team, ESPN radio’s Brian Noe will be broadcasting “The Noe Show” live from the Teletheater from 1-3 pm. He’ll be followed by Country 107.7 WGNA FM and host Jake Thomas from 3-7 p.m. Stop down and say hello.

Tomorrow morning at 10 a.m., the Teletheater will be the site of the 7th Annual Saratoga Handicapping Expo with insight into betting the Saratoga race course offered by experts from the world of racing. Owners, trainers, handicappers and others will be on hand to give you all the information and products you need to tackle the track with confidence this summer.

And on Saturday night, we’ll cap off the weekend with the “Saratoga in the City” celebration featuring a live concert by the Capital Region’s favorite party band, The Refrigerators. There will be prizes for the first 200 people through the door and everyone will have an opportunity to win our Grand Prize Giveaway of a table for six at the finish line at Saratoga, dinner for six people at Prime at Saratoga National and limousine transportation for your group.

Tickets are just $5 per person and can be purchased at the door. All entry fees to benefit the Thoroughbred Retirement Fund.

So, stop down to the Albany Teletheater this weekend and join the fun as we get ready for a great Saratoga race season! I know I love this time of year.
