I can't wait to get the Cleveland CG Reds out of the garage again.

There's nothing like getting out and playing golf, if you love the game. I will say this though, if you have never played the game and say "I hate golf", that is a dead giveaway that you have never played the game.

If you have a tough week at work you can get out on one of many affordable area courses and beat the hell out that little white ball. I usually find that after about 4 holes I forgot what I was upset about and just enjoy myself.

The scenery on the courses in our region is breathtaking. Golfers are some of the most down to earth, good natured men and women you will ever want to meet.

I still play a lot of golf up north in the Glens Falls region, and my all time favorite course is Queensbury Country Club. Tee Bird is fun, as is Kingswood and many others.

The toughest course around has to be Saratoga National, breathtaking and challenging. Orchard Creek is another course that I would put up against many out there.

I've got my mental countdown clock going and hope to tee it up in late April if the weather cooperates. Fore!!!

What's your favorite area course?

Just don't spit on the course like Tiger.
