Campbell Avenue, between Spring Avenue and Vandenburgh Avenue in Troy, have been closed for a couple of weeks due to a water main break. The road has been closed for through traffic for about two weeks. In a story from News 10 ABC, crews continue working to make the necessary repairs. There are signs up leading drivers on a detour.

Besides the residents that are affected in the area, there are also a couple of businesses taking a hit - Inferno Pizzeria and Franklin Terrace. Both have had a decline in business because of the road closure.

Because of the aging infrastructure, there has been more of a delay than expected. Crews found the problems to be worse than expected. The road will hopefully be open by the end of the week. I'm sure if you need to be in the area, you can tell us how much of an inconvenience it is.
