I was getting ready to leave work on Monday thinking, "what should I do?"

See, Mondays are tough. I'm out on the road by 5pm but I have to be back in Albany by 7:30pm to host trivia at a bar, so it doesn't make sense to fight rush hour traffic to only be home for a very brief amount of time. So, I do things.

Part of me wanted to go to the gym and get in a good work out. That same part of me thought about how gross I would feel and potentially look hosting trivia (yuck!) The other part of me was like, "I need some noodles, stat!" So, that's what I did. I got noodles. Lots of them at Noodles & Co in Latham.

If alfredo is an option, I'm doing it. And I did. It was delicious.

Then the news came out today: Noodles & Co abruptly closed not just the Latham location, but also the one within Crossgates Commons. Just up and closed. Ugh!

According to the Times Union, the signs are already down in Albany and kitchen equipment can be seen within the dining area where tables no longer reside. It's so sad, they've only been here just over a year. But with 55 Noodles & Co restaurants closing nationally, I guess our two had to go.

It's a good thing I know how to cook my own noodles.
