Busch & Patrick Fined By NASCAR

Hefty fines coming down from NASCAR following Sunday’s Race in California.

Danica Patrick crashed and was eliminated from the Auto Club 400 Sunday.  But, she didn’t want to leave without making a statement. Danica left her wrecked car and walked toward the track to confront Kasey Kahne, the driver she believed caused her to crash.  Patrick was fined $20,000 for what officials say violated safety rules.  As part of the penalty, Patrick will also be placed probation for the next four races.

Danica was not the only one breaking the rules last weekend, Kyle Busch is also in trouble.   Kyle Busch finished second in the NASCAR XFINITY race, but was so upset with NASCAR he refused to do any post race interviews.  Busch was fined $10,000 for what officials say is failure to fulfill his post-race media obligations.  Busch is also on probation for the next four races.
