The Capital Region is NEVER at a loss for something to do, and this weekend is no exception.  Everything from boat cruises on the Dutch Apple in downtown Albany to music and fun in a church parking lot in Burnt Hills.  Say WHAT?

Sometimes it's the smaller events where you end up having the most fun.  I betcha this is one of those cases, and it's worth mentioning because it's for a great cause.

                According to the organizer of the event, Jordan Twardy;

So far we have 5 local bands in this family friendly and free concert. Although held at the church it is not a religious concert or promotion event. The Rotary Club, Boy Scout Troop 56, and the BHUMC Youth group are just three of the organizations coming together to put on this show at the Burnt Hills United Methodist Church Parking Lot  on July 10th from 5-9PM

Burnt Hills United Methodist Church

     So we're giving you PLENTY of advance warning here.  No excuses, Burnt Hillsians!  Help out a great cause and hear some great live music too!

     If you have a local non-profit event, I'd be glad to blog about it.  Just send the information to Richie@WGNA.com  Enjoy the weekend!
