Burlesque: A Review of Lousy Movie Reviewers

Have you ever RAVED about something, be it a meal that you thought was great, or product that you  absolutely LOVE, only to find out that everyone around you HATES it?Does it make you change your position to feel part of the group,  or do you "dig in" even more with your point of view?  Well, DANG IT!  I usually cave in, but not this time!  Companion and I (pardon me... just trying to sound movie-reviewer-ish) went to see Burlesque, starring Cher and Christina Aguilera.

Upon returning home, I asked companion if I could borrow her cellphone so I could google a review of the movie to see if it jived with my point of view.

As a famous politician recently responded--"CHICKEN CRAP"!!  I was literally blown away with her performance!!!  Seriously.  She can out sing Whitney Houston (I mean the OLD Whitney), she can dance her badonkadonk off, AND I will go out on a limb here and say I was impressed with how natural she came off on screen!!

If anything, I thought the script was a bit lame, but that should be no reflection on her!  And I'll now STAND on the limb and go yet another step by saying that, with not too much coaching, if you add up her diverse talents, she could be a standout actress for this generation!  Who else can you think of that can sing like that, dance that way AND potentially give a great acting performance?

If anything, I think it might answer the question "Which movie review ended up changing the name of this website to "Hollywood and NOT SO FINE"???  So there!!!
