Brantley Gilbert has just inked a recording deal with Valory Music, the home of Reba, Justin Moore and Jimmy Wayne to name a few. The name may not ring a bell, but his contribution to country music today is huge. He is a gifted songwriter and seems to have made a big connection with Jason Aldean on Music Row. Brantley wrote the title track of Jason's latest disc "My Kinda Party" which zoomed up the charts to #1. Gilbert also wrote the current hit that Jason is racing up the charts with "Dirt Road Anthem".

Now Gilbert Brantley who has a rabid fan base as a performer in his native state of Georgia is taking the show nationwide as a performer with his new recording deal with Valory Music and his first single as a solo artist is a powerful tune titled "Country Must Be Country Wide". When I say this song is new, it is so new it squeaks and Country 107.7, WGNA-FM hasn't wasted anytime making sure you get to hear it. We added it to our play list this week.
