Brantley Gilbert has just inked a recording deal with Valory Music, the home of Reba, Justin Moore and Jimmy Wayne to name a few. The name may not ring a bell, but his contribution to country music today is huge. He is a gifted songwriter and seems to have made a big connection with Jason Aldean on Music Row. Brantley wrote the title track of Jason's latest disc "My Kinda Party" which zoomed up the charts to #1. Gilbert also wrote the current hit that Jason is racing up the charts with "Dirt Road Anthem".

Now Gilbert Brantley who has a rabid fan base as a performer in his native state of Georgia is taking the show nationwide as a performer with his new recording deal with Valory Music and his first single as a solo artist is a powerful tune titled "Country Must Be Country Wide". When I say this song is new, it is so new it squeaks and Country 107.7, WGNA-FM hasn't wasted anytime making sure you get to hear it. We added it to our play list this week. Here's the tune to listen to, let me know what you think. Get used to hearing the name Brantley Gilbert for years to come.
