The top-rated Shen Boys played well on both sides of the ball to advance to the final four with a 70-54 victory over Bishop Ludden. Senior Kevin Huerter led the Plainsmen with 23 points on offence but many would argue that Mike Collin's defense of Bishop Ludden's top scorer was just as important to the win.

The boys will play again in next Saturday's Semi- Final game against Section V's Aquinas Institute at the Glens Falls Civic Center.

The Shenendehowa Women's team went into this tournament only ranked sixth but took a huge leap forward this weekend by taking out the number 1 seed Cicero North Syracuse 56-44. The Shen Ladies will play again Friday night in the semi's at Hudson Valley Community College. The Championship game is slated to Saturday night.

Also advancing this weekend in Section II are the Troy Men's team who beat CBA Syracuse 54- 51 in overtime, The undefeated Hudson Boys team remains undefeated with a win over Ogdensburg Free Academy 70-63.

And the Fort Edward Women's team advances for the fourth straight time with a 35-19 victory over Moriah.
