Not every woman gets the opportunity to present her husband with a coveted award. But at the 2013 CMT Music Awards, Miranda Lambert had that opportunity when she announced that her husband, Blake Shelton, won Male Video of the Year for his smash hit 'Sure Would Be Cool if You Did.'

Unfortunately, Shelton wasn't at the awards show, so viewers missed out on what was sure to be a hilarious and heartfelt acceptance speech.

On the bright side, the country crooner's wife was eager to take his place and accept the giant buckle on his behalf. Shelton was stuck on a plane after filming in L.A., so Lambert held up the trophy and congratulated him.

Shelton left several male country artists -- most of whom actually made it to the awards show -- in the dust by snagging the trophy. Eric Church's ‘Creepin,' Hunter Hayes' ‘Wanted,’ Jason Aldean's ‘Take a Little Ride,’ Kenny Chesney's ‘Come Over’ and Luke Bryan's ‘Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye’ were also in the running for Male Video of the Year.

Lambert looked pleased as punch to read her hubby's name off the card when she announced the winner. "Honey, I'm drinking for two tonight," she said into the cameras. "I love you."

And before you jump to any conclusions from that vague statement, the Sheltons insist that they are not pregnant! She meant drinking for Blake, of course.
