Blake Shelton Excited About “The Voice” & More in Casey’s Taste of Country

Blake Shelton and “The Voice” are getting ready for their second season.  The show kicks off February 5^th, after the Super Bowl.  Blake was quoted as saying the show is “gonna make the Super Bowl look small.”  “The Voice" regularly airs on Mondays at 8pm.

Jason Aldean was back in studios yesterday working on his next album.  He tweeted about the exciting news and even attached a photo of ............................................................................... himself in the vocal booth.

Miranda Lambert’s release of “Four the Record” was yesterday.  I picked myself up a copy and I must say, it is a rockin' CD.  You won't want to stop listening to it! 

Miranda was on "The Today Show" yesterday and in regard to her success, despite finishing third on “Nashville Star,” she credits much of her career to the show.

Miranda, also, stated her true feelings regarding all her success.

Miranda will be on "Live with Regis & Kelly" this morning and will also perform her current single, “Baggage Claim.”  She performed on “The Today Show” yesterday. 

The Grammy's are cutting country music categories for the 54^th GRAMMY Awards in 2012.  The total number of categories will drop from 109 to 78.  Country music will lose three awards bringing the total from seven down to four.  Awards will still be given to best country solo performance, best country duo/group performance, best country song and best country album.
