Here's the official list of the top-grossing box office movies of 2011

1. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part Two, $381 million

2. Transformers: Dark of the Moon, $352 million 

3. The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part One, $261 million

4. The Hangover Part Two, $254 million

5. Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, $241 million

It's also worth noting that the top-grossing non-sequel/prequel/superhero movie is a tie between The Help and Bridesmaids, both bringing in $169 million.
