Be Aware Of A Possible Phone Scam

There’s a phone scam that the Schenectady Police are warning the public about.

In a story from WNYT, people have been receiving a phone call from someone claiming to be from National Grid. The caller claims that the person owes National Grid money, and if it’s not paid, your electricity will be shut off.

If you receive one of these calls, as with any possible scam, you should contact your local police department. You can always check about your National Grid bill by calling them.
