Baumgartner Announces New Bar for Troy

You're familiar with Bombers Burrito Bar, Olde English Pub, Wolff's Biergarten, and June Farms. Now, add another to the list of Baumgartner businesses because another is opening soon!

Matt Baumgartner is opening up a brand new restaurant to add to his already successful businesses. Baumgartner is turning the second-floor of Wolff's Biergarten in Troy into a new bar and lounge called The Berlin, according to the Times Union.

He's describing it as a mix of The Pony Barn of June Farms, with a dash of Olde English Pub, and Soho House in Manhattan. I don't really know what that means, or what parts of each of those we can expect but it sounds interesting!

The space used to be an event space when the building used to house Bombers Burrito Bar before the change over. Then, they added a separate restaurant upstairs called Troy Cantina that lasted only about a year.

There isn't much information on the new location, except a picture posted on Baumgartner's Facebook page to give us a taste of the potential decor. No opening date announced.
