If you were a fan of the country themed bar, Barrel Saloon, I'm sure you were disappointed when you heard it was for sale. No worries, the bar theme may be different but the grand opening is coming up.

Lost & Found Bar & Kitchen had a soft opening last Friday in Albany's warehouse district. You may be familiar with the current owners since they used to be bartenders at Lionheart Pub. According to the Times Union, their grand opening is on September 9th and they're still trying to solidify the menu.

Head Chef Ian Brower is best known from his time at Capital City Gastropub, Peck's Arcade, and Donna's. There are a lot of different types of food on the preview menu so far. I don't know many places where you could get a meatless chili burger and lamb gyro in the same place. The menu is small but it's not set up to be a full restaurant, just little noshes while you drink.

Based on pictures, it looks as if the main set-up internally isn't really much different except if you're looking for that country theme, you won't find it here anymore.
