Banning E-cigarettes In Some Albany Area Buildings

If you work or have business to take care of in any buildings owned by Albany County, and you use Electronic Cigarettes (or E-cigarettes) as an alternative to smoking real cigarettes, you’ll have to leave them in the car.

They are now banned in those buildings. In a story from WNYT, the new ban was issued by Albany County Executive Dan McCoy.

There are many arguments about the E-cigarettes. Some believe that young people could get an early addiction to nicotine while others say that it’s a way to help people quit smoking.

What are your thoughts about banning the E-cigarettes?
