Ballston Spa Man Wins Big on ‘Wheel of Fortune’

When Scott Hartman, a sales manager with Verizon Wireless, auditioned on a dare by his son Alex, I wonder if he thought he was even going to get a spot on the show, let alone win so big on "Wheel of Fortune!"

Hartman was invited to audition in Burlington, VT, in July  and competed first against 120 players, then as part of the top 10, and finally, as part of the top five contestants.  And finally he made the big show!

According to The Ballston Journal, Scott's episode was taped on Dec. 3 and aired on Monday, Jan. 4.

He was joined at the taping by his mother, Suzanne Hartman from Florida, as well as his son, Zachary, and daughter-in-law, Erin who are from Connecticut.

Hartman made it to the final bonus round and left the show with over $23,000 in cash and prizes, including an all-expense paid trip to Mexico!

Congrats Scott! Way to go!
