Bags2Riches Equals a Big Pay Day for Vermont Woman

The Price Chopper/Market 32 contest Bags2Riches came to a close and many thought the big prizes were just a dream.

Well, one dream came true for a Vermont woman who is now $250,000 richer.

Notable mention to Sarah Benson of East Greenbush who also became $250,000 richer from the contest earlier this month.

Here's how it worked, for every $25 you spent using your AdvantEdge card at one of the over 130 Price Chopper or Market 32s in the northeast, you were received a game ticket. One in three tickets gave the chance to be an instant winner of free food prizes or discounts; others included a PIN where you could register online for other prizes like gift cards, free gas for a year, free groceries for a year, cash and more. The contest ran through mid-March and $8M in prizes were possible.
