Yes, Chris Stapleton, you do look delicious. The Grammy-winning singer posed for a photo next to a bacon sculpture of himself over the weekend in St. Louis. Both man and meat were a part of LouFest.

Bacon artist Nancy Baker created Bacon Chris Stapleton. A contest was held to determine how many strands of bacon were used to create Stapleton's sculpture, with the winner getting free Farmland Bacon for a year. Meat strips fill out his chest and shoulders, face, cowboy hat and signature beard. It's not clear what the meat total was, and despite its tasty appearance, it's not really something you'd want to eat.

“We’ve had people come up and say, ‘Well, can I eat it?'” Kristin Archambeau, a Farmland representative, explains. “And we say, she’s been working on it for two straight weeks, so I’d advise against it.”

The "Parachute" singer headlined Saturday's set at LouFest to overwhelmingly positive reviews. The St. Louis Post Dispatch called booking a mainstream country artist a gamble, but one that paid off — the crowd enjoyed his 90-minute long set of originals and covers.

Stapleton has had an extraordinary year that has included big wins at the Grammys, CMA and ACM Awards and a performance on Saturday Night Live. He's nominated for six CMA Awards this November, including the Entertainer of the Year award. The 38-year-old is said to be working on the follow-up to his Traveller album.
