Geoffrey M. Pickering was accused of being one of the three people that were involved with stealing more than $1,500 dollars worth of the baby formula. The formula was stolen in 2013 during September and October. Pickering gave a guilty plea when he was in Saratoga County Court. He’ll be spending two to four years in county jail.

Pickering has some other previous legal issues. He was arrested back in January for allegedly forging checks and stealing checks, then cashing them at banks in Warren County area. In the story from the Times Union, while in Warren County Court, he was charged of Second Degree Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument.

Many stores have been keeping baby formula locked up because it's one of the most popular items to be stolen.
