As you know my friends I am always scouring the internet to find you the best videos. Sometimes they are funny, sometimes they are inspirational and sometimes they are just shocking. This one I think is a must see for a whole new reason, it's real, it's honest and it's just that good.
I tell ya, some days Maureen just seems to really hit the mark when she is on our show. Today was definitely one of those days. Usually, I have time to talk to her for a few minutes before we get to the calls so she can kind of get the psychic juices flowing, today, we dove right into the phones. I feel like she was pretty good right off the bat but she got better and better with each call.
If you missed Pet Connection today on the Sean and Richie Show, here is another chance for you to take a look at a couple of great pets up for adoption. Let's take a look at the pets featured today. Tune in every Thursday at 7:20 a.m. to hear the stories of incredible (and adoptable!) pets.
With the passing of the resolution to allow casino gambling in New York State there has been a whole lot of speculation on where in the Capital District one would be. The obvious area would of course be Saratoga where they already have horse racing and the video gaming machines. Now, according to a recent article in the Times Union, we may find one built in Albany where the old Tobin's First Prize building is , just off I90.
I can not believe I had not heard about this show before today! It looks so cool and both the producer and one of the stars of the show are from right here in Hoosick Falls. The show "Building Wild" is produced by George Verschoor from Hoosick Falls and stars Pat “Tuffy” Bakaitis who has owned the excavation company Hoosick Sand & Gravel for over 35 years.
Trust me my friends, winter is not done with us yet! I think that much like with anything in life that is miserable, or stressful or even tragic you just have to have a sense of humor about it. Even better than that though is to laugh at other people who are in the same boat as you are!
Tonight as I looked at the listener comments on our WGNA Facebook Page, a listener wrote" Here's a perfect question of the day for Tuesday: Do you purchase "Store Brands" in things or do you stick by "Name Brands" only?" I thought it was a great question and it got me thinking, how much difference is there, really?
I've seen this video on a few of my Facebook Friend's walls today. I am not sure how old it is, it looks to be from 2012, but I know I had not seen it yet so I think it is safe to assume many of you have not either.
If you watch the movie trailer for "Lone Survivor", you may think "Wow, looks like a pretty good war film." I'm sure it is, but I know it is so much more than that. The last time I went to Memphis to visit St. Jude we all had an opportunity to meet the man who is the "Lone Survivor" in the title of the movie, Marcus Luttrell.
I really don't have a whole lot to say here other than I saw this commercial the other night and I could not believe how much it creeped me out. I wonder what in the world advertisers are even thinking lately.
