It's Friday!! So that means time to head into the way back machine and pull out another great country song and video from the past. This week back in 1989, Clint Black hit the top of the charts with the tune "Killin' Time".
Being a radio personality, many times distractions can happen while I am on the air. Whether it be some breaking news coming in, someone walks in the studio unexpectedly or Lou Roberts starts cranking something funny in my headphones that no one else can hear or starts throwing stuff at me
Actress Mila Kunis was recently named Sexiest Woman Alive by Esquire Magazine. Now Scottie B certainly loves the ladies and I have to agree she is certainly a looker! She's come a long way since starring on That 70's Show. Since we deal with country music on GNA, I started thinking who the sexiest woman in the world of country music is. There is a fair share of gorgeous ladies in the genre.
There is nothing that makes me more proud then our brave men and women in uniform. Making sacrifices every day to keep this country free. Having to spend months and sometimes years away from their families. That's why I felt the need to share this great video from Saturday's college football game between Georgia and South Carolina.
Time to head back in time once again for another great blast from the past with this week's edition of Flashback Friday. On this date back in 2001, Reba Mcentire's WB sitcom "Reba" debuted also on this date back in 1994 Vince Gill won 3 CMA awards including Entertainer of the Year. With that I thought I would feature them both together for their big #1 hit from 1993 "The Heart Won't Lie".
Happy Birthday to the Compact Disc!
It was announced a few days ago that George Strait will retire from touring and embark on a farewell tour the next few years called "The Cowboy Rides Away Tour". With that announcement I decided to feature him in this weeks edition of Flashback Friday. We go back to 1991 for one of his 59 #1 hits "If I Know Me".
We all know by know that Brad Paisley loves the element of surprise. He is notorious for pulling pranks on fellow tourmates. Most know the prank is coming, they just never know when. This time around Brad didn't pull any pranks and it didn't even involve a tourmate. Last night at Carrie Underwood's show in Nashville, Brad made a surprise appearance during the song "Remind Me" the duet he and Carrie normally sing on.
It's time to relive another great country music memory as we go back in time for this week's edition of Flashback Friday. This week we head back 18 years for a top 5 hit from Doug Stone "Addicted To A Dollar".
Good news for football fans with who watch their TV via Time Warner Cable. According to a report from Bloomberg.com, The Cable company has finally reached a deal with the NFL Network and their Red Zone channel.
