With the postponement of the Daytona 500 to Monday night, we have to wait a little longer to check out some great racing action and some great NASCAR themed ads. The Great American race is alot like the Super Bowl as new ads are debuted duing the race. He are just a few of my all time favorites.
Time to go back a few years once again and remember a great country song and video with this weeks edition of Flashback Friday. We go back 16 years for this #1 hit from John Berry, 1994's "Your Love Amazes Me".
This Thursday, myself along with Brother Lou Roberts will be judges and Kevin Richards will be your host for this month's installment of Country Idol Karaoke at Vapor in the Saratoga Casino and Raceway. The best singers in the Albany area have a chance to win $5,000. I love to sing myself and love to go out to karaoke anytime I have a chance. Here are just a few of my favorite places to go.
A trio of today's hot country acts have some new visual material to go along with some of their latest tunes.
Time to wrap up another week and time to take a trip down memory lane with this week's edition of Flashback Friday. This week we go back 25 years for Ricky Van Shelton's first #1 hit, "Somebody Lied".
Starbucks drinks are quite expensive and recently a man went out of his way to see how expensive they could get.
If you have seen some past blogs or know me personally, you know that I am a huge professional wrestling fan! Grew up on it in the days of Hulk Hogan and Rowdy Roddy Piper and it's carried on since then! Anytime a wrestling event comes to the area, you can guarantee that I will be in attendance. That is why I am really excited to hear that news that the biggest annual pro wrestling event will be just a few hours away from here at the home of the New York Giants and Jets.
A little over a week ago our friends at Taste Of Country posted the news that Randy Travis had been arrested in the early morning of February 6th after watching the Super Bowl.
I am a big fan of award shows so I was glued to the TV last night watching the Grammys. There were plenty of great performances last night and plenty that had me hitting the mute button. One that I really enjoyed was the duo known as the Civil Wars.
It's Friday! The end of another week is upon us, so once again it's time to bring back a great memory with this week's edition of Flashback Friday. Today is Lionel Cartwright's birthday so I thought it would be fitting to feature one of his big hits from the 90's. We go back to 1991 for Lionel's only #1 hit, "Leap Of Faith".
Larry The Cable Guy is coming to Albany this Saturday for 2 shows at the Palace Theatre.
