May is National Military Appreciation Month. Personally, I appreciate our Nation's Military 24/7-365. It's because of those brave men and women that we get to do what we do here in the good ol' US of A!
As we wrap up another week, it's time to break out another great country song and video from the past with this week's edition of Flashback Friday. This week we go back about 20 years for a Top 5 hit from Mark Collie, "Even The Man In The Moon Is Cryin'"
Yesterday the Baltimore Orioles beat the Red Sox 9-6 in a game went 17 innings and lasted 6 hours and 17 minutes. That is quite a long time to sit through a game and I have been in that situation before. I was in attendance for the longest AHL game in history back in 2008.
It is a great time to sports fan right now. The NBA just kicked off their playoffs. The NHL is in full effect with their playoffs and every game has been incredible. Major League Baseball is a month into the season and already fantastic. NASCAR is moving right along with many great races. The only thing missing is the NFL, but their is enough off season stuff going on to make football fans happy.
Time to dig out another great country song from the past with this week's edition of Flashback Friday. This week we go back to 1992 for Michelle Wright's only top 10 hit in the U.S., "Take It Like A Man".
