February 9, 2012 This one was a no-brainer. Many of the folks who contributed information for this little town mentioned that the "Ring Of Fire" each summers' end on Sacandaga Lake was something that I just HAD to mention. So I ask you - what song would YOU use to commemorate this great little place? Apologies to Johnny Cash, but it was right there - I had to go with it!
February 9, 2012 I was just talking to a friend of mine yesterday. He has been in contact with the "Guinness Book Of World Records". He's doggedly determined to get his name in that esteemed book. I can't divulge his idea or he'll kill me, but it's a good one. It's amazing what is considered to be worthy of a world record. Here's a great example

February 8, 2012 Ok - call me old, but I found a great app. Don't laugh- I've mentioned it before. It's the Reader's Digest for the iPad. It's awesome , and they had the top viewed YouTube videos on there. This one got over 9 million hits.
February 7, 2012 There's a fantastic new country song by Billy Currington. You must know the one. It's called "Like My Dog" , and basically asks the musical question to a significant other, "How come your not more like my dog?". Well, I thought there was another animal that deserved equal time here!
February 7, 2012 You heard me. They're TOTALLY awesome, and they're going to get a theme song, darn it, and a good one too! They are now part of a new club here at the radio ranch. They are going to have their town immortalized in song (for better or for worse) for Your Town Thursday !

February 2, 2012 I loved the participation from all the folks in Waterford. It made writing even MORE fun than normal, and I appreciate it. I even had a Facebook friend suggest the song to parody, and it turned out to be a great idea, even if it was a song from 1905!
February 2, 2012 I'm actually not sure if this offer still stands, but recently at a famous restaurant in New York City they were serving a pizza for $1000! Think of that when you are shelling out $5.00 tonite at Townsquare Media's huge event: Pizza Wars. (See what I did there? Are you going?)
February 1, 2012 Facebook is making headlines again in lots of ways. Did you see that they are now offering stock? Could be a good investment but don't take my word for it. But I do know one thing for sure - these Facebook fans are now world record holders!
