Kevin Richards began his radio career by winning a contest at age 12 on his hometown country radio station.  The connection led to a radio show, where he was required to obtain a child actor's permit to legally work underage. Richards has worked at several small radio stations in upstate New York, leading to WGNA-FM.  In 2000, Richards received his first national CMA nomination for Medium Market Radio Personality of the Year.  In 2006, he took the crystal trophy home and was once again nominated in 2010. In addition to hosting the daytime and Sunday Morning shows on WGNA, Richards' hosts and produces the biggest Country Dance and Country Karaoke events in the Northeast.
