Gas Tanker Crashes in Hoosick – Again
Authorities are reporting that a gas tanker has crashed on Route 7 in Hoosick and is on fire. This is all too familiar for residents of the area, as this same thing happened nearly two years ago in March 2011 - and it happened in almost exactly the same spot on NY Route 7, just beyond the junction of NY Route 22.

Post Office Puts Local Covered Bridge in Arlington VT on a Stamp
The United States Postal Service has issued a stamp celebrating the Arlington Green Bridge which is just over the border in Bennington County, Vermont. The bridge was built in 1852 and is located just off of Vermont Route 313. With this stamp, the USPS has chosen one of the most photographed covered bridges in Vermont!
