Bethany is the newest member of the WGNA morning show. She and her husband and two kids just moved to the Capital Region. Bethany grew up in Western New York and got her Communications and Film degrees from the University of Tampa, in Florida. Bethany spent time as the morning show co-host for WPIG, The Big Pig in Olean, NY, WPCV in Lakeland, FL, and on the morning show team at WQYK in Tampa, FL. Bethany has a TV and Film background and has worked for ESPN, CMT, and the Home Shopping Network. She hopes to bring a fresh, fun, female perspective to the Sean and Richie Show!

High School Hunger Games – How Can You Help?

Let the games begin!

'GNA's High School Hunger Games has officially begun!  We are teaming up with local schools to help fight hunger in our area!  And, you can help too!

Here are the Capital District high schools who are participating:

Cohoes High School

Burnt Hills – Ballston Lake

Notre Dame – Bishop Gibbons

Columbia High School

Mohonasen High School

Maple Hill High School

Ravena – Selkirk High School

Duanesburg High School

Shenendehowa High School

These schools are busy collecting non-perishable food items in the hopes that their school will win the grand prize!  A Flight Trampoline Park VIP party and tickets to the new Hunger Games movie that is due out November 21!

You can help your community out!  Call your school to find out where they'd like you to deliver canned goods!  Plus, keep checking back to our site to see pictures from the schools and to find out who is in the lead!

Schools will continue collecting until November 6!
