Sixteen million kids in America aren't getting the food they need and sixty two percent of teachers in the U.S. say they regularly see children who suffer from hunger. There is something we can do!

That's why we are so excited to be able to host The Capital District High School Hunger Games along with our friends at Honest Weight Food Co-Op!

Here's how it works:

Ten local high schools will compete to see which school can gather the most non-perishable food for donation. Each of the schools will have until Nov. 2 to collect the food, at which point County Waste will come to your school and pick up and weigh your school’s donation.

The school that donates the most food will win a "Hunger Games" party at Flight Trampoline Park in Albany, and receive tickets to see the new film!

Click Here to fill out an interest form, then we'll contact your school and set it all up!

Check out the trailer for the new movie.

Along with your help, we are raising awareness, collecting tons of food, and having a blast doing it! Let's go, Capital District! Let's see which school can win 'GNA's High School Hunger Games!
