I don't know about you, but wow - I've had a rough week. And today I'm already having a bad day.  How do you turn things around?

I did some research for selfish reasons, but also for your benefit if "Mr. Murphy" has visited you as well (you know - Murphy's Law?)

According to the Harvard Business Review.com there are ways out of your doldrums

1. Isolate the problem  - If you have a concrete reason for your unhappiness, you'll know exactly what to concentrate on to turn your day around.

2. Think about what you are grateful for.  It will make you feel better.  Think about 3 things that are going on in your life that are good.  It might cancel out the bad stuff

3. Change your routine up a bit  -Do something you really like.  Be selfish.  Crank up a song you like.  Interesting fact - just a few minutes of negative news on TV can give you a bad mood.

Do yourself a favor - read this whole article at Harvard Business Review.com. (And you don't have to be a Harvard graduate to understand it.

Hey - Have a nice day!  (I'm saying that for both of us)
