Anti Bullying Benefit Planned in Schenectady
We have an avid listener, Tim, who calls in every Friday from a local Moose Lodge. His organization does great things for the community. Here’s just one of them – an anti-bullying benefit!
I have a vested interest in promoting any kind of anti-bullying effort. The school program that I’m involved with concentrates a lot on this topic. More on that later, but first..
From their press release:
Concerned parents, educators, and mentors ask you to join them in raising awareness of this ever growing problem that is causing our children to take their lives every day as they see no other alternative
When: Saturday, March 1, 2014
Time: 6 PM to 10 PM
Where: 1332 Lower Broadway
Schenectady, NY 12306

All proceeds go to the New York State Anti-Bullying campaign
You can call 518–393–6021 for more information
The event is open to the public and will be guest speakers and information on how you can prevent bullying in your community.
