The 13-year-old student allegedly made comments with school staff and other students hearing them. According to a story from News 10 ABC, this happened at the Cairo-Durham High School, on Thursday, January 9.

The Durham Police and New York State Police were called to the school. The State Police Explosive Detection K-9s inspected the school for any explosives, but fortunately there was nothing found.

The teen was arrested for Juvenile Delinquency by New York State Police and released to his parents. He’s waiting to find out when he’ll be heading to Greene County Family Court. The last time we had a report of a threat to a local school was just a few days ago at Gloversville High School.
