With this rain we're getting today and tomorrow and the temps hovering in  the mid 30's and low 40's we might not have a white Christmas in Albany again. The weather may seem nice to some, but personally I like a white Christmas and am crossing my fingers that we will get one in the remaining days before December 25th, 2012. It's also turning out to be another tough year for businesses in our area that depend on the 4 seasons every year. Snowmobile dealers, snow blower shops and retailers and even ski areas that employ thousands of our citizens seasonally and pump a lot of sales tax revenue into our economy are taking a beating and struggling for their very livelihoods. Snow is more than decoration, it is a part of who we are in New York and we really need it for many reasons.
