Another Day, Another Bear Spotted, This Time In Rotterdam

It’s been a few weeks since we’ve seen any bears in the Albany area, but there’s been another bear siting. This time it was in Rotterdam on Thursday night.

In a story from News 10 ABC, the Rotterdam Police got quite a few calls about a bear walking through the western part of Rotterdam. The calls came from people that saw the bear in the area of Schalmont School, and also on another part of  Duanesburg Road area. As long as the bear keeps moving, there apparently isn’t anything that the D.E.C. will do. Let’s hope these bears can find their way back into the wilderness.
