Another clothing retailer will be closing in the near future due to a nationwide shutdown.

According to NYUP.COM, Wet Seal has announced they will close all 171 of their  locations. This comes 2 years after the teen fashion store claimed bankruptcy, when the store initially closed 338 locations. The closings affect five upstate New York locations, including the Crossgates Mall. NYUP.com says closing dates have not been announced, but you should be seeing some sales soon to move the clothes out of the Crossgates location.

This closing kind of goes against the trend of the other Crossgates closings we have heard of lately. While those seemed to be the result of more online shopping, this one is a store shutting down operations. Wet Seal will join J. Crew and Ann Taylor on the list of Crossgates clothing retailers that have closed this year.
