He was the former world champ of the sport.  He's now retired, but playing for the Springfield Lasers.  They came up against tough opponents - the New York Sportimes.  Yours truly happened to be there - pocket camera in hand

We had some really great seats at the SEFCU Arena in Albany (right on the State University at Albany campus) - thanks to my wife jumping online soon as she heard about it months ago.

You have to actually see them play to believe them.  If I tried to return just ONE of their serves, I would be a visitor at an Albany institution of a different kind - Albany Med. They come so fast and so low, it would be  physical impossibility as far as I'm concerned.  Your experience may be different.

Actually, it was a very tight contest , but our very own Sportime team eventually prevailed. They played doubles, mixed doubles, singles - very exciting stuff.
