It was 4:00 a.m. on November 30, and a man tried to buy beer, but the sales clerk refused to sell it to him. The story continues because the clerk called Cohoes Police and gave a description of the car Michael Larsen was driving.

From a story on News10ABC, this happened at the A-Plus Sunoco at 245 Ontario St. in Cohoes. Larsen, who’s from Ravena, was pulled over by Cohoes Police. Besides discovering that Larsen was drunk, they also found out he was driving a stolen car.

Larsen was in Albany County Court on Tuesday where he pleaded guilty today to one count of Driving While Intoxicated and one count of  criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth degree.

Albany County District Attorney, P. David Soares has been praising the clerk for doing the right thing, and helping to get a drunk driver off the road.
