UPDATE @ 6:40 p.m. - From Fox23 News, the vehicle in the AMBER Alert has been located in New Hampshire, but the child, mother and suspect have not. Keep checking back here as we will keep you updated as we get more information.

The Washington County Sheriff's Department has activated the NY AMBER Alert system and has confirmed a child has been abducted from a home on Turnpike Road in White Creek around 4AM this morning. Police are searching for a suspect, Matthew A. Slocum - description of the suspect and child after the jump.

The suspect (Matthew A. Slocum) is a 23 year old white male with short brown hair and brown eyes. Slocum is 5'10 and weighs 195 pounds. He is driving a black two door Ford Mustang with NY plate number DED 1769

The child is a white male, Raymond Slocum, approximately four months old. Slocum's girlfriend is also believed to be held hostage by him as as well 25-year-old Loretta Colegrove. She is 5'8'' approximately 190 pounds, with long, straight reddish brown hair typically worn back with a white or light blue scrunchie. Colegrove was last seen wearing a spaghetti strapped light blue tank top, blue jean shorts, and flip flops.

The suspect IS ARMED and fled the scene of a suspicious fire and death taking the child with him.

The suspect was last seen possibly traveling on North Street in Adams, MA around 5A this morning. Possible sightings in New Hampshire have been reported as well.
